Beginnings

Hello,
I'd like to start with a short intro. My name is Katherine, but I go by Kat. I'm a 54 year old, somewhat conservative female. I considered starting a blog in the past, but did not feel as driven as I feel today.
Yesterday, something happened that energized me to the point where I now want to experess my opinions, and points of view. I hear and see the talking heads on visual media with their "repinions", (that would be reporting with an opinion) and feel it's only right to be able to give mine too......
